Ingredients
- 2 cans (29 oz each) of sliced peaches (preferably in heavy syrup)
- 1 box (15.25 oz) of yellow cake mix
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish
3. Pour both cans of peaches into the dish, spreading them out evenly. Drain one can if you want a less-sweet result.
4. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the peaches.
5. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
6. Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and edges are bubbling.
7. Cool for a few minutes, then serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Optional Add-Ins: Cinnamon, nutmeg, or chopped nuts can be sprinkled on top for extra flavor.
Sweetness Control: Drain or keep the syrup based on your preferred sweetness.
Fresh Peaches: Peel and slice about 5–6 peaches, add sugar to taste, and proceed as written.
